Für mich ist Tango eine Form der Begegnung und der Kommunikation – geTanzter Dialog – Körpersprache(!!), bei der es um echtes Verstehen zwischen zwei Menschen geht und nicht nur um das Abspulen von angelernten Figuren.

Führen und Folgen auch jenseits der Vorhersehbarkeit (Gewohnheiten) – echter Dialog und freies Spiel mit Widerstand und Hingabe und allen Möglichkeiten. – Das "WIE" ist das Entscheidende! ; )

Leider fehlen oft auch langjährigen TänzerInnen und "Tangolehrern"(!!) differenziert erarbeitete Grundlagen (Achse, Gehen und Stehen, Führung und Antwort,...) – obwohl diese angeblich vielfach gelehrt werden, sind viele TänzerInnen darin äußerst unsicher und wissen gar nicht, dass es jenseits ihres Horizontes noch erfüllendere, andere Welten gibt.

Wer diese Grundlagen gelernt hat, wird beseelter Tanzen und hat mehr von allen Kursen, die er danach besucht, egal ob es dabei dann um Schritte, Figuren oder Techniken geht – davon bin ich überzeugt, weil ich selbst diese Erfahrung gemacht habe und mir meine Schüler das begeistert bestätigen.

Ich unterrichte Lern- und Wissbegierige in Einzel- o. Doppelstunden und in Intensivworkshops – Männer und Frauen, bevorzugt einzeln oder im Paar – größere Workshops nach Vereinbarung. Alle Niveaus.
