Patient, methodical, result-driven
Have taught adults (exam preparations) and children (homework) with great results !

I am female, 29, patient, flexible and very open minDed.

I am organized, experienced, and like to make learning fun! I have classroom and one-on-one teaching experience, as well as professional experience in web and graphic Design.

I have spent many years working as a tutor for extra money during college.

I have over threee and a half years experience teaching and tutoring at the collge level. I enjoy helping people reach their learning goals. I also work in the computer industry doing database administration, programming, SQL and I am an expert in the Microsoft Office package.

I am very patient and have a lot of empathy. I analyse the specific difficulties of my stuDents and their strengths. I tutored throughout my studies and in addition to all my jobs. It´s a fun job and I have a natural talent to do so.

I co-taught Spanish 3 as a high school senior. I worked for a summer at Concordia Language Villages in Minnesota, an immersion based language camp for kids ages K-12. I have a zest for languages, most people I come in contact end up learning at least something from me because I'm always talking about and thinking about other languages. It's a big part of who I am, and there's nothing enjoy more than sharing this with other people.

I've worked with a lot ESL stuDents on writing, reading, conversation, vocabulary and some grammar. I'm unDerstanding of the process of learning a foreign language, and encouraging to anyone who's doing it.

I'd be very good at working with stuDents of German at all levels of introductory German. I can explain the grammar, work on conversation, reading/listening comprehension. I can work with high school and college stuDents with basic German courses, tourists wanting to learn travel German, anybody interested in improving or using their German or any other kinds of processes or activities.

In my German language tutoring I use a unique educational technique and dramatic reinforcement methods that banish inhibitions and optimize the speed of language acquisition. You will speak the other language in the first lesson.

As your tutor and native German speaker, my focus is on practical vocabulary, cultural cues, verbal ease and listening ability. You will speak the language to learn it!

After having finished my 2nd Staatsexamen in 2003, I have been working as Studienrätin for teaching German and English. I have been teaching in England for a year, returned to Germany and taught Middle and High School at a German comprehensive school, Abitur in Germany and since I moved to New York in 2008, I work for the United Nations International School and am also teaching the International Baccalaureat and work as an Examiner for the IB in Cardiff.

Extremely patient; love kids; very experienced in my subjects and have done a lot private tutoring as well as practical work; passionate about my work.

I have 4 years experience as a tutor. I am used to working with children but also teenagers and adults. I'm patient, very friendly and I love teaching.
