With over four years of teaching experience overseas and locally, I pride myself in being an excellent tutor in many areas, namely Music (Organ/Keyboard/Piano/Theory), Bahasa Malaysia, English (also ESL) and Science. I have a Honours degree in Chemistry from the Malaysian University of Science and a Diploma in TESOL from the London Teachers Training College. My music qualifications were awarded by Technics Music Academy, Japan as well as Trinity-Guildhall, and I have performed at various concerts and was the resident organist at church for about 5 years. Currently, I am pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Education at UWA.

My students are from various backgrounds and from ages ranging from 6 years to adults. I am familiar with the school syllabuses up to Year 12. Lessons offered are tailored to suit the individual needs of students in order to help them develop the passion for learning through interactive and creative methods - excellent results are guaranteed! Constant feedback is provided to parents so that they are able to monitor and manage expectations.

I am an experienced personal tutor used to working with adults and children of all levels. I have worked with children with special needs and learning difficulties, children and adults seeking to improve their general English skills, and those wishing to learn English as a second language. I am patient and diligent in my approach to teaching and will provide carefully prepared lessons and tasks according to each student's individual needs.

I have taught English, ESL and drama for a number of years now at a secondary school in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I have taught VCE English for many years and am passionate about enhancing both student academic capabilities and determination to excel at school. I am patient, proficient, dedicated, knowledgable and enthusiastic. Whilst at university I spent a year doing voluntary teaching in Kenya and learnt much about approaches toward teaching. Whilst at university I was also trained to teach primary school aged students.
My knowledge on novels/texts is abundant as I work for another company who lectures VCE students and I also write study guides for VCE texts.

I am a lawyer who has previously tutored legal studies and English.

A student failed the trials but with some rigorous short term tutoring by me ended up achieving an overall HSC mark of 84. If this student had been tutored by me for a longer period I am certain she would have achieved a much higher overall mark.

I also have a passion for English and have successfully provided guidance in essay writing, grammar and text interpretation.

I have experience training law students and I am young and easy going. If you are struggling and need a hand you can ask me the simplest questions and I will try to work out the best way of helping you understand your curriculum, whether it be legal studies, English or essay writing. I want you to achieve the best mark you possibly can in your HSC, without too much stress.

I find that the most successful way of teaching is for me to determine how you learn and then tailor my classes to suit you, as there is no point teaching in a way that will not allow you to grasp the subject matter. In cases where you don’t know the best way that you learn then I will use some of my tried and tested methods to see whether they suit you.

I really enjoy teaching and am available most afternoons. I am happy to have you come to my home in Northbridge or I can come to you. Please contact me if you have any questions.

I am a good communicator and a patient teacher who sees potential in every student and pushes them accordingly. I have 4years of experience as a High School and ESL teacher at every level. Because I also speak fluent Irish, languages and their nuances such as grammar, pronunciation, literature, listening and speaking, appeal to me and I understand them well. I am passionate to inpart information on others and I love my job as a tutor/teacher!

I am an enthusiastic tutor who seeks to tailor each lesson to the needs of the student, injecting energy into an otherwise tricky or tedious grammar topic. I enjoy working with all ages and all levels. Although I am just completing my first year of teaching I have had a variety of teaching experiences, including a range of different students and locations from India to Brighton. I believe that flexibility in the classroom is key to creating a productive learning environment for the learner and try to keep lessons dynamic and interesting.

I have worked as a substitute teacher in New Zealand and I have tutored ESL students in Hong Kong. My background as a journalist and newspaper sub-editor makes me well qualified to guide students in the correct use of English and to improve their writing skills. I am a mother of two young children and I appreciate the patience and sensitivity required to tutor both children and adults. While I am available to tutor face-to-face (in Sydney, Australia), I am just as eager to tutor online. My knowledge of French and Danish is an additional asset. I majored in history at university and I keep abreast of current affairs.

Ich bin eine sehr geduldige Person. Unterrichtseinheiten können sehr spontan vereinbart werden. Auch gerne am Wochenende. Unterrichtseinheiten sind bei mir sehr günstig!

I am in my 4th year at Aberdeen University and intend on completing a postgraduate teaching diploma next year. I am enthusiastic, patient and encouraging when it comes to teaching. I enjoy seeing people understand a subject area more thoroughly, because for me it means I have made their life a little easier.

I am very enthusastic and eager to teach!!
I am fluent in Korean but also in English.
I am in a sophomore year at USC majoring in Business and Chinese. Tutoring is available during the weekends until May 12th but anyday after May 12th.

I listen to my students. I cater both for what they need and what they feel comfortable with, as each student is different. I am flexible, friendly and laid back, while determined to help in any way I can.

I've worked with a lot ESL students on writing, reading, conversation, vocabulary and some grammar. I'm understanding of the process of learning a foreign language, and encouraging to anyone who's doing it.

I'd be very good at working with students of German at all levels of introductory German. I can explain the grammar, work on conversation, reading/listening comprehension. I can work with high school and college students with basic German courses, tourists wanting to learn travel German, anybody interested in improving or using their German or any other kinds of processes or activities.

Hi there! English is my best subject overall, which explains why i'm majoring in TESOL. Writing is one of my passions, so i'll be able to help with essays and any form of writing. I was a public-speaker and was also on the school debate team, so i'll be able to coach in speech as well! :)
I've been known to come up with fun and interesting ways to tackle the "boring old" Grammar and all the usual troubles students have with English, which can be very confusing at times. I like to use visual aids which can help students understand better, and i use a lot of workbooks. I'm also very patient, so i'll be able to give all the help needed!

I teach English for Everyday Use (General English) as well as English for Business and Workplace (English for Success) to all levels. My online classes are highly-interactive and fun. My students enjoy my live presence while participating in a virtual classroom so that they don't only hear my voice but also see me and our lesson’s visual aids, live! They can even draw and explain their ideas to me using an online whiteboard, like we're just sitting together during the class. The lessons are customized to meet every student's need. My training approach is very student-friendly and students get to speak their minds a lot through active role playing, thought-provoking activities, and interesting discussions in the form of debates, interviews, etc. Students receive a lot of corrections to improve their sentence constructions as well as their pronunciation. Moreover, they get to enhance their writing skills upon completing essays and business letters and receiving suggestions on how to improve their written works. These writing tasks are usually assigned to them as homework.

I have an excellent English spoken, and Teaching and Training experience. For the past four years I have been working in China,I am a qualified English language teacher. My oral and written English are of a high standard. My past working experience includes teaching English in a private school, organizing work curriculum, organizing school conferences and the control of other teachers.

My tutoring service is the answer. I offer an alternative teaching style, and hassle-free. My name is Archie, and I am an experienced tutor. I have tutored young children (grade 1-12) in reading, writing, math, homework help, and in various other subjects, using my own learning materials as well as tutoring through an after school program.

I have also been a tutor and mentor to middle and high-school-aged youth in subjects ranging from Math to homework or organization help (mostly Sciences and Math subjects, or general homework help). I have tutored college students as well, in subjects such as Chemistry and Biology.

I have a strong background in learning and education. I have tutored children with ADD, children who are in the process of learning English, and older youth with learning difficulties. I am a very patient, cheerful, and friendly person. I am responsible and professional, and my highest priority is making learning interesting and worthwhile to the student.

Having able to handle several years of tutoring in diverse population of students, I have adopted a similar teaching style and method to help students find enjoyment in the process of learning, using their personal interests and skills to carry each lesson further. Offering choices like these promotes a child's self-efficacy in education, which will not only help them to enjoy the process of learning, but also give them the ability to become an independent learner.

I am available to tutor during the coming school year, and payment is negotiable - let me know what is affordable to you. The rate is just the same as TUTORVISTA has offered but hassle-free from all the scheduling and among other red tapes you would have to go through any companies. Most importantly, I mainly want to help students become excited about learning, and more successful in the subjects and areas they have trouble with.

Please contact me; I would love to help your student!

email me: yo... err

Very patient and experienced with students with low level of literacy or nervous adult ESL students.

As a future teacher, I believe that I will play an important role model in the learning development of young adults. As a tutor I will be able to transfer this ideology into the teaching.
