Bonjour

Merci beaucoup

Working as a tutor for SYLT No child left behind for more then a year.

I have been tutoring some highschool students in Mathematics and Chemistry for 2 years. I have been teaching French to a small group of people for 1 year.I am patient and I have good experience about how to be more efficient with some''hopeless cases''.

I am currently a postdoctoral Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, with the long-term goal of obtaining a tenure track position at a university that values teaching. My areas of expertise, enthusiasm for teaching, and flexible schedule seem perfectly suited to your expressed needs.

Before going to graduate school, I tutored undergraduate algebra courses. As part of my graduate school experience, I taught several molecular biology courses to undergraduates. In the past couple of years (since moving to NYC), I have been an active participant in the Cornell Science Challenge, an outreach education program that pairs professional researchers with 7th grade science classes. I am now looking to find a more structured tutoring opportunity. If mutually agreeable, I would be available to tutor throughout the academic year.

I am a recent college graduate who loves tutoring. I tutored students throughout college and I would like to continue to help people in my hometown of Brooklyn. I am a talented tutor with the ability to put chemistry into understandable terms for students who are struggling. I look foward to working with you.

I have experience with classroom Instruction for SAT included reviewing basic skills and test taking strategies while disciplining students into a prep curriculum. I also performed personalized diagnostic analysis and helped place students into classes. I also counselled high school students in small groups. I also conducted intensive SAT workshops for Writing and Critical Reading strategies. For some students that prefered individual attention, I tailored tutorial sessions for private in-home instruction to meet their needs and schedules. I prepared and planned my tutoring sessions in cordance with the lectures of the professor's curriculum. My biggest challenge was designing a lesson plan for all students alike, developing a strategy to help them master all the skills they need. I assigned practice problems and homework assignments relevant to the subject matter and followed up by reviewing the strategies used to guide the student through exercises exclusive to the entrance test they are prepping for.

I have been tutoring for last many years now. I don't consider it a job anymore. It is more like a passion to me. I love to see my students progressing. It motivates me to do my best to bring the best of my student forward.

I am use to tutoring my piers, i did that most of highschool in science classes.
