My name is Luan.

I am a young South African (with an American passport) living and working in shanghai.

I currently teach English at an Express company called 'Asia-Ex'. I also teach a 6 year old boy on weekends.

I have one years teaching experience and I have experience in one on one tutoring.

My teaching plan is to make lessons as fun and interesting as possible. I will try to make the students feel comfortable and relaxed around me (this in turn will inspire confidence in the children when learning a new language). It really helps in my favour that I am so young as the children will be able to get along with me and have certain things in common.

I am a very understanding, fun, enthusiastic and patient person.

I have no problem with taking time with students because I can understand that learning a new language can be very difficult or boring.
